Filtering your DEF is a very important process that prevents urea crystals and other contaminants, deposited during the storage and handling process, to impact the SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction).
Without proper DEF filtration, the SCR process will not be as effective at reducing harmful NOx emissions and damage to equipment may occur.
Fireball Equipment's Commercial DEF standards are to obtain a 5 micron filter system. This allows for us to maintain system flow rates at a cost effective level.
Our standard commercial 1L DEF filtration system uses a micron filter and can be easily installed onto an existing system. We also have a team of technicians that are able to come to your location and do the lifting for you.

Our industrial grade filtration is to obtain a 1 micron filtering solution. Due to the expense of the equipment that is using DEF, our systems use 1 micron filters which can cause some pressure drop offs.
As a result of using 1 micron filtration, systems offer suffer pressure loss. Therefore, our team uses a larger filter housing and engineered solutions to ensure our DEF systems run at full capacity with a greater level of filtration.
