Diesel exhaust fluid is stored in a 2,270 litre poly tank. This allows for the purchase of bulk delivered DEF fluid instead of using 10 litre jugs. A low maintenance seal-less magnetic drive pump is used to transfer the DEF from the storage tank to the dispensing system. The dispensing system consists of 5 micron filtration system to remove particulates from the DEF. Those particulates could damage the vehicles SCR catalytic converter system. An optional flow meter provides a pulse out which may be used in card lock fluid management systems as well as a totalizer display at the dispenser to allow the operator to see how much fluid was dispensed. DEF fluid is dispensed through a 25 foot hose on a spring rewind reel before passing through an automatic shutoff DEF splash fill nozzle.
